The New England Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary commissioned photography and graphic design for six descriptive posters (24" x 36") for public display at their 2017 open house.
Letter-size versions were made available for wider distribution as part of the sanctuary’s educational mission.
Roger Williams Park
The City of Providence restored and upgraded the interlocking ponds at Roger Williams Park.
I established graphic standards in collaboration with scientists and the Parks Department, and designed informational and identification signage for printing on a variety of materials for multiple uses.
This multi-state, multi-agency entity requires annual creative output for three audiences: scientists, politicians, and the public.
I designed a layout and illustration approach for a consistent voice for printed booklets, large presentation posters and online, live-linked documents.
RI 1663 Colonial Charter Commission
In 2013, Rhode Island’s Colonial Charter became 350 years old. It was removed from its safe and moved to a new museum in the State House.
I photographed the move and the document, designed museum display and label graphics in collaboration with historians, and coordinated signage appropriate to RI State House historic color scheme and mechanical constraints.
Providence Preservation Society
PPS publications reach city-lovers and legislators alike, and must appear both familiar and new in each iteration.
I established classic multi-column templates and typography to speak well to multiple constituencies. Tight copy fitting, full-bleed photography, and consistent graphic structures keep the voice familiar, regular remixing and recoloring make it new.
